Basics

Name: Sakura Kinomoto
Age: 10

Magical Powers: As for magical abilities, Sakura is a Sorceress. Her powers allowed her to see ghosts and spirits even at a young age and Sakura usually pointed them out to her brother Tory who also possessed the ability to see them. Apart from her medium like abilities, Sakura's also in the words of recollecting a magical deck of cards, created from times long ago. They're ancient and powerful and Sakura had the unfortunate luck of accidentally scattering them.

Skills: Good at cheerleading, supporting her friends, not giving in and letting herself becoming discouraged for too long.

Personality: Sakura's an extremely energetic and cheerful and just generally a happy person. Quite the athletic individual, Sakura was part of the cheerleading squad in both her middle school and then again in high school, where she eventually made it up to captain.

Yet despite this knowledge upon first meeting Sakura she seems to come off as a little naive, clumsy, dense and at times completely clueless. This sadly isn't something that has changed over the years and she's still quite gullible and at times believes pretty much everything that people tell her.

Yet despite that, she still has those perceptive moments.
Sakura's optimistic and trustworthy nature allows her to be friendly with everybody. In fact, her personality is a dominating factor in her relationships, especially with Syaoran. Her charm can win anyone as was evident with Syaoran and how despite starting out as rivals they eventually became friends, which in turn grew into a love so powerful it's survived a lot of things.

Roleplay Sample

((This sample is from a site where I had aged both Syaoran and Sakura up to their earlier twenties, which is why they're not gonna read as little kids. just a FYI))

The idea to leave the safety of Tomoeda had seemed like the smart thing to do when she'd been still in the planning stage with Syaoran. But even with Syaoran here with her, the city just seemed to be too big and busy that Sakura found the whole thing a little overwhelming to be truthful. Sakura had always thought that Hong Kong had been way to busy for her liking, and while yes she'd since gotten used to the hustle and bustle of Syaoran's childhood home. The young sorceress hadn't quite been ready to go threw all of this again. A big city like this wasn't any place for her to be wandering around in on her own and Sakura had learned that lesson from her first and only venture into the main city in Hong Kong.

Nine times out of ten, Sakura usually took what Syaoran had to say into consideration. But it had just been a simple shopping trip and with Syaoran in meetings all day, Sakura hadn't wanted to spend such a beautiful day confined to the Li Clan Mansion. So Sakura had decided that she'd take a trip into the city, on her own against Syaoran's advice and warning that it probably was a bad idea. Nonetheless Sakura had brushed his warning off as him being just a little over protective and proceeded to then spend the rest of her afternoon running throughout the streets of Hong Kong, trying to avoid the various groups of paparazzi that had managed to stop her and want and interview. By the time she'd made it back to the mansion looking a little worse for wear, Syaoran's laughter and well elegantly worded 'I told you so' couldn't be kept at bay. Safe to say when in Hong Kong now, Sakura usually sticks to the mansion grounds if she needs to get outside for a bit.

But here in America, everything was completely different. No one seemed to be an eye at their presence in the city and while other members of his family might have found that unacceptable (a certain pig tailed martial artist who still talked way too much, for example) neither she nor Syaoran worked that way. Their powers and abilities were their own concerns and having the public be aware of them always seemed to bring them more trouble than it was worth. No, it was better all around to be as normal as possible until they could get to the bottom of whatever was going on here.

With her dreams being back to how they'd been when she'd first started to come into her powers vague and hazy, Sakura found herself cursing the fact that she couldn't really do anything to aide them. The moment she awoke from them they started to loose their clarity and if there had been something important hidden within them, they faded away more every second she was awake. That of course made retelling them nothing short of difficult and while they were working on some mental exercises to help prevent it, so far they hadn't had much luck and it was coming to point where actively searching the city, might be their only option left to them. Shifting in her sleep, Sakura could feel the beginnings of a dream forming. Tugging at the ends of her consciousness trying to pull her in farther.

Despite having years of experience when it came to dream walking, none of her card capting dreams had been pleasant or fun to experience and that had sort of tainted the whole sort of vision thing, to the point whee she tended to fight against it for as long as she could. Which usually resulted in the dream pulling her in farther than a normal human could stand it. It also made it all that much harder for her to be roused from the dream and even Syaoran had commented on the fact that waking her up from it was getting harder for him to do as well, and although for the moment it was unsaid, Sakura knew that he feared that perhaps the next time it happened he wouldn't be able to. Submerged fully into her current vision, Sakura did her best to try and make a mental note of everything she was seeing not knowing what might be important later on.
